Res publica is a mission-driven company

Since its General Assembly in June 2024 , Res publica has held the status of a mission-driven company . Our team has defined purpose , that is, what we wish to contribute to society and the transition. We have made commitments in this regard.

The process that enabled Res publica to become a mission-driven company involved all team members through working sessions and workshops held from July 2023 to June 2024, as well as representatives of our external stakeholders .

Res publica's purpose is defined as follows :

For a just and sustainable society,
we foster dialogues that contribute to the decisions that affect you.

The statutory commitments we make are set out in the Res publica Manifesto

Why is Res publica a mission-driven company?

Res publica's mission is to organize dialogues to foster the practice of democracy in everyday life. We therefore wanted to strengthen our commitment by affirming in our mission statement what constitutes our social and political utility.

Our practices, methods, and the techniques we employ must be constantly tested to remain effective in serving our clients and their stakeholders . This is one of the defining characteristics of our work: we owe quality service to our clients and loyalty to their stakeholders .

Being a mission-driven company allows us to more formally organize the relationship between Res publica and its external stakeholders , including the indirect beneficiaries of our services (citizens in public spaces, employees in businesses). We work with these stakeholders to strengthen our ties with society and serve it beyond the services we provide.

By formalizing our commitments in a collectively designed and regularly evaluated action plan , our teams progress in a continuous and controlled manner, train themselves, take a step back and gain perspective on daily life, and deepen their reflections on their professional practices.

How do we ensure that Res publica remains true to its mission?

The PACTE law provides several mechanisms and systems to ensure that the mission is fulfilled and that the company's purpose remains its guiding principle.

A Mission Committee supports Res publica and monitors the execution of its mission . This advisory body complements the company's governance and is responsible for submitting suggestions and proposals to improve the execution of the mission and its statutory objectives .

Each mission report outlining all the actions carried out within the framework of the mission. The first publication of this report will take place by mid-2026 .

Res publica's mission is audited by an independent third-party organization (OTI) represented by Gérard Schoun .
