Context

Fibois Île-de-France is the interprofessional association that brings together all professionals in the forestry and wood sector in Île-de-France . After two editions of the General Assembly of Forests and Wood in Île-de-France, one geared towards the sector, the other towards the general public, it decided to organize the 2022 edition in the form of a Citizens' Convention . 20 randomly selected citizens , illustrating the diversity of the Île-de-France population, gathered for 3 weekends to answer the following question: How can forests and wood in Île-de-France contribute to meeting the current and future needs of the people of Île-de-France?

Missions

• Support in the organization and facilitation of 3 working sessions .

• Working with the Fibois IDF teams, they developed a work program that structured different sequences of information, deliberation, and production . This method enabled members to take ownership of their mandate and understand the challenges facing the forest and timber industry .

• Jenparle dialogue platform was made available , allowing the 20 citizens to deepen their discussions between sessions.
