Redevelopment of the La Baule-Escoublac seafront promenade: prior consultation with residents

The City of La Baule is undertaking a project to redevelop its seafront promenade into a true seaside town. Its long beach, bordered and structured by the main road, is one of the city's most beautiful features and undoubtedly its most iconic asset, which has forged its appeal. Today, it is clear that the layout and amenities of this promenade appear outdated and aging. Recognizing the need to prioritize the redevelopment of this area , the municipality aims to undertake, in conjunction with the town of Pornichet, various works to modernize the entire space through a high-quality, environmentally friendly, and innovative approach. As a key project, the redevelopment is subject to prior consultation, as stipulated in Article L103-2 of the French Town Planning Code. The City of La Baule has chosen to go further with a voluntary participation initiative.
