Stakeholder Committee Nouvelles Solidarités des Landes: learning from the health crisis to adapt the social policies of the Landes Department
The COVID-19 crisis in 2020 brought to light solidarity needs that had not been identified until then. The Landes Departmental Council wanted to work with local stakeholders on the new forms of solidarity emerging in the department.
The creation and steering of the Comité Nouvelles Solidarité bringing together all the solidarity players. The objective was to propose operational actions based on the needs of the Landais, actions already implemented that could be transposed to the entire territory, as well as new initiatives deployed during the health crisis that meet the needs of new users
Design and facilitation of territorial workshops with citizens and elected officials, which the Committee members helped to organise and in which they participated
Design and animation of the online dialogue platform Jenparle, allowing to collect the opinion and proposals of the population concerning new solidarities
The members of the Committee based their work on an online citizen consultation and on exchanges with local elected officials and inhabitants of the Landes region
Alternate face-to-face and distance working sessions, using facilitation methods that involve all the players
A report was submitted to the President of the Departmental Council on 16 October 2020, who undertook to continue discussions with the Committee as part of the implementation of the proposed actions
