Design, organization and animation of the Grenoble Alpes Métropole Citizen's Climate Convention
The national Citizen's Climate Convention has inspired several territories to repeat the experience on their own scale, including the Grenoble Metropolitan Area. The latter was one of the first to adopt a metropolitan climate plan in 2005. It has updated it regularly and wanted to involve citizens to further strengthen the actions of its latest plan. That is why 100 people representing the diversity of the population of the 49 municipalities of the Metropolis were brought together over 5 weekends to formulate proposals for :
To assist the Operational Committee of the Convention (an independent body appointed by the President of the Metropolis) in the design of the program and the conduct of the work, the organization of the various sessions and their animation.
Accompany speakers and experts in the preparation of their speeches and interventions
Facilitate the Convention sequences: plenary, group work, sub-group work, feedback sequence
Restitution of the work of the Convention: drafting of summaries and reports, accompanying members in the drafting of their visions
