Anticipating and preparing for healthy aging in the Strasbourg Eurometropolis area

The Strasbourg Eurometropolis sought to involve its Development Council (CODEV) in a forward-looking reflection on a major challenge for the coming years: the aging population and the transformation of public policies to address it.
By drawing on the members of its CODEV , composed entirely of residents of all ages from across the metropolitan area (90 members), this initiative also provides an opportunity to contribute an innovative and complementary perspective to that of elected officials and city departments. Members are encouraged to draw upon their practical expertise and lived experience , and to renew their approaches and the form of their contributions.
This new initiative, along with the addition of new members, offers the opportunity to strengthen this body through new collaborative practices based on a methodology that combines a sensitive approach to the topic, collective intelligence tools, and an inclusive and dynamic framework for the group .
